I love this quote and love what the website Journeys4Good is doing to create ripples of hope and change around the world.

Over the last 15 years, husband and wife production team Steve and Joanie Wynn have traveled the world together, producing stories for Travel Channel, History Channel, Discovery, HBO and Conservation Corporation Africa. 

Their recent documentary, “A Journey for Good: Tanzania” aired across the United States and resulted in 4 Emmy Nominations and 2 Telly Awards. It also inspired the creation of the Journeys4Good website to help people around the world learn about meaningful international travel opportunities.

I recently had the privilege of connecting with Joanie and was thrilled to participate in a 2-part interview for their Ripple Effect series. (The Ripple Effect explores the emotional impact of volunteer travel and its lasting effects on people’s lives.) In the interview, I share some of the hi-lights of my Adventure of Hope as well as a sneak peak into what is on the horizon for 2013.
