The most direct line between wanting to be in control and relinquishing control is found in the traffic chaos of India.  I was ready for ebullient honking, the crush of vehicles.  Casting aside my western eyes I saw a refreshing perspective on efficiency.  By this I mean, why waste space with 3 cars across in 3 lanes of traffic when 5 will fit? To the far left is the imaginary lane used by motorcycles, bicycles, and bicycle carts.  Painted traffic lines are merely decorative.
