We’re Expanding To Three Programs in 2016. Apply Today To Join Us. 

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 2016 programs. In March, we’ll return to India – the site where our first ever tribe of participants joined us for two weeks of volunteering and meaningful travel. Then, in April, we’re bringing some of the best elements of our international program home with the rollout of our first domestic offering – the Elemental Odyssey Program. Finally, in October, we’re expanding to South America through a unique partnership with Eli Lilly. If you’re interested in learning more about our 2016 programs, please apply by January 31, 2016 so you can speak directly to someone on our team about which program might be right for you. This is the only time this year when you can apply once and be eligible for all programs at the same time.

India Odyssey

Through our partnerships with Cross-Cultural Solutions and G Adventures, we’ll volunteer in New Delhi, experience the colorful nature of the Indian culture, and marvel as we watch the sun rise over the Taj Mahal. From sipping fragrant chai with new friends each morning, to volunteering with inspiring community based projects and connecting with local cancer patients, you’ll have the opportunity to see yourself and what you’ve been through with fresh eyes. Los Angeles to Phoenix Elemental Odyssey

We can’t wait to introduce you to our brand new North American program. The Elemental Odyssey Program will embed a weeklong domestic volunteer travel experience into our broader A Fresh Chapter framework. You will have the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, and make new friendships – all without leaving the continent. While in Los Angeles and Phoenix, you’ll volunteer to support an inner-city school garden, join a movement of fresh food and empowerment, and learn from a leading expert on how to find grace and resilience while dealing with cancer. You will explore Native American culture, share your story via an innovative video project, and experience an unforgettable sunrise over the Grand Canyon. Peru Odyssey

This year, we’re launching our first program in partnership with Connecting Hearts Abroad – an inspiring employee volunteer program created by Eli Lilly. In October, A Fresh Chapter will welcome 20 people impacted by cancer to join us for a two-week volunteer program with Cross-Cultural Solutions in Lima, Peru and an incredible trip to Machu Picchu with G Adventures. While in Lima, we will volunteer with the community of Villa El Salvador, spend time with local cancer support organizations, and experience the best of both the Peruvian culture and A Fresh Chapter’s in-country programming.
