A Fresh Chapter & The Taj Mahal
“We’d love to share your story,” he said, “Can you tell us where your big dream came from and then show us how it felt to see the Taj Mahal with G Adventures and 12 cancer survivors from across North America?”
In the past two years, I have told my story a lot. But, this request from the Creative Producer of Video at G Adventures got me thinking. What if, along with filmmaker Mark Halliday, I could tell my story in a way that makes you feel as if it could be your story?
Whether or not you have survived cancer, life is never perfect. There are plenty of reasons each of us struggles to drag ourselves off the couch and find a dream that will keep us going.
So, what if we could tell you a story of survivorship that allows you to escape to India at the same time? What if you could see the ripple effect of dreams in action? Mark Halliday and I put our creative heads together to come up with this video for G Adventures:

Very inspiring, indeed! I always like to hear about your dreams and adventures. My big dream is just to be well enough to attend my son’s graduation and wedding this year and go to Switzerland with him in August. My dreams don’t extend beyond six months anymore, but they are still big dreams. Carry on! xo
Jan – I love hearing from you and am cheering you on with your dreams. Keep me posted with plans for your son’s graduation/wedding and your trip to Switzerland. You go girl! T xoxoxo
Hi Terri
So inspired by your journey and the one you have started for others through you own dream. After being diagnosed with breast cancer and ,devasted by it, I wanted to find a way to heal and share my experience. I started writing my blog
” The Rising” http://www.sondriab.blogspot.ca and also started a photo project with a very talented artist here in St. John’s NL named Malin Enstrom. After having my picture taken post mastectomy and sharing it I realized the healing properties it had for me and wanted to see if other local Newfoundland women wanted to be part of doing the same. So far we have photographed six women and thier journey’s and have have four more waiting to be photographed. We will be having a exhibit in Oct/2013 hopefully to share these awe inspiring pictures of women who inspire others. A face to a disease that takes so much but at the same time gives people the strength to do things they never dreamed. Like you. Keep me up to date on the next excursion round the world…..
With great respect
