Your FundraiseUp:

We have a fundraising campaign set up for Africa Elevate, and you’ll be able to raise funds for your flights, visa, vaccination costs as well as 15% to cover fees. Funds raised through this page will flow directly through A Fresh Chapter’s umbrella organization: Social & Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE). Below will include the steps you need to get started, and if you want some extra support, please do not hesitate to reach out to Lyndsey Womack at lyndsey@afreshchapter.com.

Setting Up Your Fundraiser:

1. Open this google document to follow along while you create your fundraiser. It will walk you through every step of the process.
   • Read through the steps to see what you might want to have ready.

1. Display Name: Your Name
2. Fundraiser Photo: A photo of yourself
3. Fundraising Goal: Set your goal in US Dollars
4. Your Message: Your contribution matters. Join me in supporting A Fresh Chapter and empowering people who’ve been impacted by cancer.
   
5. Goal Date: June 30, 2024

7. Email: Use an email you have immediate access to
8. Check your email to locate the verification code
9. Input verification code
10. Add your First and Last Name
11. You’ve started fundraising!
12. Copy Link to share with your community. Check out ‘What Do I Say?’ for some tailored language you can use to share with your community!
13. Share via social media by clicking any icon.
14. Check your email for access to your fundraising portal!

Your FundraiseUp campaign portal will include:

• A running list of everyone who has donated to your campaign.
• Total amount you’ve raised.
• Page views.
• Direct Sharing Link (access to a QR code!).
• The ability to edit your fundraiser directly.
