At A Fresh Chapter, we believe volunteerism is a key component to emotional healing – not just for cancer survivors but for anyone who’s experienced adversity in their lives. Our programs include a meaningful volunteer component and we actively encourage our participants to engage in volunteerism virtually or in their local community. In addition, A Fresh Chapter continues to expand our volunteer opportunities – open to anyone with a desire to be part of a movement that is transforming the landscape of cancer support. Alumni Ambassadors
A Fresh Chapter offers past participants an opportunity to remain engaged with A Fresh Chapter and its mission of healing the emotional scars of cancer through volunteerism, community, and programs designed to reframe adversity and redefine what’s possible.
Ambassadors take on a variety of projects – based on skills, interests, and availability – including being part of our selection team, providing fundraising mentorship, creating marketing materials, writing blog posts, and/or supporting participants before and after their AFC experience.
