Here at AFC, we believe that each of us has the unique skills, talents, and passion to make a lasting impact on the world. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to highlight our alumni as they create a ripple impact in their community through volunteering. As we begin this process, we wanted to start with sharing volunteer experiences recommended by our AFC alumni community. This is a brand new offering that we are rolling out in beta form and would appreciate any feedback!

Informal Opportunities

Many of our alumni have found ways to support their community outside of organizations. Below are a few ways that they have impacted their communities.

• Spending time with people in your local nursing home. (Brandy A.)

• Fostering animals or driving animals to and from appointments with your local animal rescue. (Ivory J., Marisa C.)
